Chicago Bears 4 months agoBears fans….thoughts on new coach and coordinator hirings? To me Emery seems like a great GM and Im hoping they really do address the need to create more on the offensive side of the ball. Im positive about Trestman but really know nothing about him..

Chicago Bears 5 months, 2 weeks agoHave to say I’m a little concerned for the Bears right now. If we’re going to make the playoffs then we’re going to have to scrape in there I feel with the way we’re playing. Not impressed with Mike Tice as OC.

Chicago Bears 7 months, 2 weeks agoBears ranked in top 5 at NFL.com power rankings. Wow we getting some respect.
-
That’s where I’d put them too. Especially with Matt Forte looking back to stenght and that defence dominating like they have been.
-
couldn’t agree with you more.

About time! Funny how before the season the offense were meant to be high powered the defense were meant to be slowing down due to age. Yet the offense hasn’t quite been high powered and the defense is far from slowing down due to age! In fact this could be the best defense we’ve had since 2006.

Chicago Bears 7 months, 3 weeks agoCmon BEARS!!! Lets go with a Week 1 offensive performance rather than week 2 or 3. Bears D, please destroy Romo and Crew I don’t care about my fantasy QB this week.
-
Aaaaand destroy them we did! Watched it last night mate after taping it and our defense especially was outstanding. Was actually pleased with the way the O-Line played too, good game from everyone all round there. Onto Jacksonville next…
-
Would love to see them follow up with a crushing of Jacksonville. Would be very nice to go into the bye with a 4-1 record.

Chicago Bears 8 months, 1 week agoCutler – ’'I probably shouldn’t have bumped him. I’ll go with that. As far as me yelling at him and trying to get him going in the game, I don’t regret that. I shouldn’t have bumped him. I’ll stick to that.”
-
To be fair, if you aren’t going to get upset about how they played Friday, you’re never gunna get upset
-
He should be angry and no doubt he is angry at himself for holding the ball on occasions, but if he admitted that to the media they would crucify him. Everyone outside of Bears fans (and even bears fans) seem to hate Jay Cutler. If he came out and said I held the ball too long tried to fit the ball in to gaps that werent there he would be…[Read more]

Chicago Bears 8 months, 1 week ago*sigh* yet another disappointing offensive performance. The offensive line in particular once again just didn’t give Jay Cutler a chance! Pleased with how the defense played though. Now anxious to hear more about Matt Forte’s status after injuring his ankle.

Chicago Bears 8 months, 2 weeks agoGreat win today. Cutler had a slow start which he can’t afford next week but once the offense found their groove we looked very good. With the receivers we have and 1-2 punch in the backfield, I’d like to think they’ll be productive against that Packer defense.
-
I like the bears for the same reason I like 49ers and Texans. They have a balanced attack and a defence. I hope those two features are the new standard for championship teams.
-
It certainly makes a change from the ’'pass happy NFL’’ that we hear so much about these days. I think it makes NFL teams less predictable when there are teams such as the Bears, 49ers and Texans who can win games by throwing the ball well, running the ball well and playing good defense.
-
Very impressed with Da Bears (even if I am a Packer fan). After a slow start Cutler and Marshall turned it on. Thank god I had those 2 on several of my fantasy teams. The Bears are going to challenge for the Division/Conference at least if they can stay healthy.
-
Fair comment mate, I along with others seem to think the Bears and Packers will really slug it out this year for the division and it could come down to a tiebreaker it’s that close? Your boys next for us at Lambeau, going to be a close one! They always are.

Can’t wait for tomorrows game, should be great. I really do hope the Bears play well in offence and don’t sputter. I’m a bit worried about Tillman being injured (listed as questionable) but hopefully he can start. One saviour for the Bears is that it looks unlikely Jennings will play.

They’ve had issues with that OL for such a long time. Only a matter of time till Cutler gets hurt again.
Defense seems to be showing it’s age now too the last couple of weeks?
