Haven’t been this nervous about a game since the 2011 Playoff game v Saints.

A few ESPN experts have tipped us vs GB this week… is the upset possible? Biggest upside of this matchup for us is the Packers’ woeful run D (I think they’re allowing 140 YPG) and Marshawn in fine form. Could be juicy.

Anyone else fell completely flat after the Week 1 loss to Arizona? The rest of the NFL world saw it and shrugged, but there was so much internal belief and promise, to come out and deliver that up was pretty rough.

    • I’d feel pretty deflated too. There are a few positives: Lynch played the full game and that run defence is still strong.

      • True, but the offseason’s plans were a) generate more pass rush and b) get better at pass pro. One week in and both were non-existant. Early days, but still deflating!

What about you Dom, keeping a lid on things with your mob I assume?

If Lynch sits out Week 1, how confident are we all of Turbin’s ability to put up decent numbers? He’s been great in the PS, but that means little. Thank god we have the Cards to open the season… can still defs win comfortably without Skittles

ATTENTION ALL SUPPORTERS OF SUB-STANDARD NFL TEAMS:

Over the next few days we’ll be publishing an article outlining effective ways to cope with your team performing poorly week in, week out.

We want to get a good range of ways you guys cope with these constant and hideous losses, so hit us up and let us know below. The best few will get featured.

  • I’m hoping Pete Carroll names his QB1 either today or tomorrow. There’s no more time for competition. Flynn should be the starter, no matter how exciting Wilson has been. He’s accurate (provided TO isn’t on the recieving end) and poised. Needs a tad more confidence in the pocket, though. The way I see it, Flynn is the QB of the near-future,…[Read more]

    • You would have to think Flynn will be the starter week 1. But if he falters I don’t see him getting to many chances before they see if Wilson can handle it better.

Rumour flying around today was that RW is going to be named starter for Week 3 preseason. It’s starting to get detrimental now – give Flynn the 1st reps to develop chemistry. Stop pissing around.

Well, there you go. RW to start game 3. Pete Carroll going against the grain has worked in the past, yet I can’t help but feel this move is just destructive. Wasting time.

        • Its a weird decision, because its not like the Seattle need to be in a win right now mode, I really like Wilson, but it never hurts to sit for a few games/season and learn.
