Glad we finally got one. God it was a boring game though, although all final Pre season games are. We have nowhere to hide now though, bring on the bills. I’m slightly worried.. At least their D is pretty terrible.

Yeah, true. I’m slightly worried myself. Looking forward to the game, though – will be a better sense of what our season might look like.

I’ve been very impressed with him so far. As long as he can keep working and keepmp the intensity I can see him becoming a big addition.

Unfortunately I don’t. TO hasn’t looked great in his first 2 outings – sure, he came down with that impossible 40-yard catch but he dropped all the other sitters. Braylon Edwards on the other hand? 100%. He’s got the playmaking abilities we need.
What do you reckon?

I agree with you, I think he’s a goner. The upside is all with Edwards and I don’t see TO begin able to deliver enough value to be worth holding on to.

I would like to see him make the roster, I mean, it is T.O and he knows how to get the job done. However we have 13 wideouts at the moment so we need to get that down to 7, and I can’t see him making it. If he and Edwards could work well together on the field though, they could be a great pair of receivers

Can get the job done, sure. But we all know he’s well past his prime, and wouldn’t you rather blood a younger reciever and try to kickstart their carreer such as Lockette etc? Especially if they can generate similar production?

Fantasy Football 9 months, 3 weeks agoNick Foles posting some very interesting numbers again in this game against the Browns. Still low-end but could end up being a great late pick up if Vick has a standard injury year.

Yeah if you draft vick its a good idea to have foles as your last pick. They call it handcuffing, coz you know they will get solid touches when the starter is out. Id still rather avoid vick though. And there are better backup qbs in the last rounds than foles.

Agreed, Vick is a huge risk. I think Foles is most interesting in value as a keeper in relevant leagues. Otherwise, I wouldn’t necessarily pick him up at all except off waivers, but he just might prove great value.

I drafted Vick in one of my leagues. 2 days later he hobbled off with bruised ribs. Foul language ensued followed by self- flagellation for going against my usual avoidance of injury prone players. He better not go down during the season or he is banished forever.
