We are looking to expand our team and are ready to hire new writers and other smart people right now!

Here’s what’s in it for you:

• Exposure to large sporting organisations and websites around the world (we have had Australian representatives from ESPN,  EA Sports, 2K Games and NFL.com visit the site in the past and we currently have a close partnership with some of these organisations).
• Chat with other Australian fans when they leave comments on your articles.

Writer Requirements

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Excellent Spelling & Grammar
  We do edit all of the posts that get published, but you need to have really great spelling and grammar so that it’s not too difficult for our editors.
• Passion & Commitment
  Be able to correspond via reply email on a regular basis and come up with ideas or suggestions when required.
• Uniquely targeted content for Australian fans (and in an Australian perspective/tone)
  We don’t want any articles that cover the same content and offer the same information as other sites. We want our own stuff that is made for Aussie fans for Aussie fans!
• Trial Article
  We require all possible writers to submit a trial article before they proceed. The article must be uniquely Australia and written in a conversational tone.

Writers FAQ

How often do I need to write articles?
There is no required amount of articles or deadlines involved and require you to supply your own articles and ideas for articles on a somewhat regular basis (every 2/4 weeks). We will put out requests for certain articles on a regular basis in our Facebook writers group.

How long do my articles need to be?
How long is a piece of string? Just kidding! They can be as long as you like however we prefer concise short and sharp articles that are broken into sections where possible.

Please note: None of our positions are currently paid and are all done for the love and passion for US Sport or as a way to begin a new sports or journalism career.
