It’s that time of year again when the stars of the NBA can relax & have some fun, with the 2013 All Star Weekend upon us starting this Friday, USSDU with the help of NBA2k13 give you a look at what to expect this weekend & an early insight for picking a winner!

We have simulated all the main All-Star Weekend events with NBA2K13 on PC to find a winner…

Rising Stars Challenge : STARS ( TeamShaq )
Stars  -  D.Lillard – 22P , 6R , 8A ; K.Irving   – 29P , 8R , 7A
Elites –   B.Knight – 28P , 4R , 3A ; N.Leonard – 14P , 9R , 1A

The Stars came out early with Lillard shooting well, scoring 12 points with 2 assists all in the first quarter to give the Stars a 3 point lead after the first.

In the second quarter it was all offence for both teams, Irving shot well hitting 7/8 from the field and adding 3 rebounds for the Stars while Leonard was keeping the crowd entertained with a posterizing jam midway in the second.

Brandon Knight came out of the half wth something to prove for the Elites. He came off the bench scoring 16 points in the third to bring the Elites within 10 heading into the fourth.
Rubio coming back from knee surgery had a night to forget, scoring only 6 points and handing out a couple of assists, while Davis was also shy having 7 rebounds but only hitting a few shots.

The Elites kept in the game with Knight again shooting well scoring multiple buckets and getting his team mates the ball, but Irving and the Stars had the upper hand late with back to back jumpers from Lillard to come away winners 109 to 105.

Three Point Shootout : S.CURRY 

Paul George started out so strong in the first round hitting 4/5 money balls and advancing easily to the second round. Curry and Bonner shot well enough to advance to the second and final round.

Curry shot lights out during the final run hitting his first 8 shots to cruise to a solid score of 21, George struggled missing 3 money balls while Bonner simply ran out of time only finishing 1 point behind, as he still had 3 balls left on the final rack.

Dunk Contest : J.EVANS

This year was closely contested. Faried had the first flair dunk of the night, with a bounced alley oop 360 reverse to get the crowd going but that was all he could offer for the remaining of the night.

White had the best dunk in the second round with a pullback 180 switch from corner key that scored a high 78 points.

The Final round was a race between the top 3 dunkers of Ross, Evans & White with Evans looking to become a back-to-back winner of the competition.
Evans came out with a solid score of 74 to take the victory, while Ross & White just fell short on their final dunks of the night.

All-Star Game : WEST ALL- STARS
East   -  L.James – 27P, 4R, 8A ;  J.Holiday – 23P , 6R , 2A
West  - K.Bryant – 27P, 5R, 4A ; D.Howard – 20P , 16R , 1A

All fun and games aside all of the athlete’s on the court want to win, Kobe showed his fire and was a stand out scoring 13 points with 3 assists in the first quarter as he was pretty much running the offence for the West.
The West had a 4 point lead starting the 2nd, but the East shortly took over from the help of D.Holiday coming off the bench and leading the way with 14 points. Lebron added 10points and 3 assists to see the East outscore the west by 9 points to give them the lead heading into the half.

Howard took over in the third with 10 points, 6 rebounds and a huge slam over Anthony. The West kept pulling away with Durant hitting 4 shots straight to end out the quarter 3 points ahead.

The West kept rolling into the fourth with Howard scoring the first 6 points while rebounding the ball extremely well. Kobe also stepped up with adding another 10 points to give the West a 10 point lead with 5 minutes to go.
The East kept shooting with Lebron scoring well while Garnett was held quiet, only scoring 6 points for the night. Holiday had some clutch buckets late but rebounding by Howard stopped the East from gaining any momentum and helped the West hang on winners 120-112
