Australian Patty Mills Returns To The Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs have announced the re-signing of Australian guard Patty Mills.
After being initially drafted by the Portland Trailblazers in 2009 Mills has moved around during his short career, spending part of last season competing in both Australia and China due to the NBA lockout.
His return to the NBA came when the Spurs picked him up on March 27th this year. During this short time he averaged 10.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 16 games off the bench.
Going into the offseason it was uncertain if Mills would re-sign with the Spurs or if he would find a bigger role (and paycheck) on another team.
However Mills now appears locked with San Antonio for the foreseeable future, contract details have not been disclosed.
Patty is currently preparing to represent Australia in the 2012 Olympics.
