2012-13 NBA Foxtel ESPN Game Previews: Week 2
With one week of the season and 3 ESPN Foxtel coverage’s done and dusted, it’s time to cover off on another exciting week ahead in the NBA.
Last weeks match-ups proved to be statement games as the San Antonio Spurs, the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers all prevailed in their star studded contests.
Another 2 games will be brought to you Live from ESPN via Foxtel in Australia. This week they are…
BROOKLYN NETS @ MIAMI HEAT
Time & Date: Thursday November 8 @ American Airlines Arena
Coverage: LIVE 11:30 am EDST (See TV Guide for other times and games)
Brooklyn’s start to the season has certainly been a bumpy one. It included hurricane Sandy, their first win against the Toronto Raptors and blowing a 21 point lead to the under strength Minnesota Timberwolves.
They’re lucky they didn’t run into the Knicks this week or who knows what would have happened there. Instead they get to face Miami this week after they pulled out a nail biter against the Denver Nuggets.
Watch For: The 2 Guard showdown in Joe Johnson v Dwayne Wade. Both these elite scores will look to provide a scoring punch and anything else they can think of to put their team in the best position to win.
UTAH JAZZ @ DENVER NUGGETS
Time & Date: Saturday November 10 @ The Pepsi Centre
Coverage: LIVE 2:30 pm EDST (See TV Guide for other times and games)
This Western Conference match-up should be a high scoring affair. The Jazz come into the Pepsi Centre and while the Utah players are adjusting to the high altitude the Nuggets will run them ragged.
Ty Lawson will be key for Denver. As their leader he needs to initiate the fast break to make sure the Jazz players are kept out of breath.
Watch For: Look for Utah to establish their half court offense through Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap to try to get the win here.
That’s the set of games featuring on ESPN this week.
Which game or team here are you eagerly waiting to catch?
