2012-13 NBA Foxtel ESPN Game Previews: Week 4
We are now charging through the NBA season after almost a full months worth of action.
The newly shaped Oklahoma City Thunder feature this week on ESPN Australia, so let’s see who they battle against this week on Foxtel.
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS @ OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
Time & Date: Thursday November 22 from Chesapeake Arena
Coverage: LIVE 11:30 am AEDT (See TV Guide for other times and games)
Kevin Martin has created a comfortable niche in the Thunder offense quicker than expected. Averaging 17.1 points and over two 3′s per game in his opening 10 games.
Meanwhile the Clippers are giving other teams headaches with Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in good form, and super sub Jamal Crawford bringing the scoring punch off the bench.
Watch For: Oklahoma City, last season’s leading shot blocking team try to defend against ‘Lob City’ with a vengeance.
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER @ BOSTON CELTICS
Time & Date: Saturday November 24 from TD Garden
Coverage: LIVE 11:30 am AEDT (See TV Guide for other times and games)
OKC will again be tested as they fly to Boston to take on the Celtics. Rajon Rondo has picked up from where he left off in the Eastern Conference Finals, providing plenty of direction, leadership and assists in the early going.
The Thunder will certainly come into this game with plenty of confidence after demolishing previous teams in their path. Particularly referencing the beat down they gave to the New Orleans Hornets in New Orleans last Saturday.
Watch For: The famous Celtics fans make the TD Garden one of the toughest places to win on the road. A strong start in the opening quarter will be what the doctor ordered for the Thunder to get the win in this one.
The challenge is set for the Thunder this week on ESPN via Foxtel.
With these higher quality teams in OKC’s way how will the Thunder come out the other side?
