2012-13 NBA Foxtel Game Previews: Week 15
All Star Weekend is fast upon us and the Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls will provide an entertaining battle just before we head to the All Stars game.
BOSTON CELTICS VS CHICAGO BULLS
Time & Date: Thursday February 14th from TD Garden
Coverage: LIVE 11:30am AEDT (See TV Guide for other games and times)
While a well deserved break will be in order and on both of these teams minds, they will not rest until their match up is finished.
The Chicago Bulls will hope that the streaking Nate Robinson will once again come up big with Kirk Hinrich and Derrick Rose’s absent.
Going through life with Rajon Rondo has been swept under the rug as Celtics haven’t missed a beat.
They’ve put on a dominant 6+ game win streak against teams like the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Watch For: Nate Robinson
Robinson has put up All Star numbers in the last 2 weeks and the most surprising of it all would be the consistency that it has come with.
Last season John Lucas III poured in a big game every now and then without Rose so Chicago knows how to mold a good point guard.
WEST ALL STARS VS EAST ALL STARS
Time & Date: Monday February 18th from the Toyota Center
Coverage: LIVE 12:30pm AEDT (See TV Guide for other games and times)
The All Star Weekend is always an entertaining spectacle and the pinnacle is always the All Stars Game.
Only a few times a year do we see LeBron James battle Kobe Bryant or Kevin Durant v LeBron. It’s truly special to get the games best talents all on the floor at once.
You can count on Durant, Kobe, LeBron and Dwayne Wade all to vie for the coveted MVP trophy which will go along with some pretty nasty dunks.
While it will also be good to see James Harden, Paul George, Jrue Holiday and Kyrie Irving all in their very first All Star game.
Watch For: Everybody!
If you like defense, run because there will be alley oops and dunks galore.
This game is for us, the fans and with that in mind the dunks will have that 110% attitude which will make these highlights more memorable. Enjoy the All Star festivities!
These are the games you can catch on ESPN Australia via Foxtel throughout the week.
Will Boston carry their win streak right through to the All Star break? And will the 6 1st time All Stars from the East be able to conquer the experienced West?
