BROOKLYN NETS @ BOSTON CELTICS
Time & Date: Thursday November 29 from TD Garden
Coverage: LIVE 11:30 am AEDT (See TV Guide for other games and times)
Brooklyn will be all fired up when entering the TD Garden after playing the Knicks at home on Tuesday. Win or lose the Nets will be out to prove a point against the Celtics.
While the Celtics seem to be getting back on track after a slow start to the season; they need to sort out their rebounding woes before they see the Nets front line.
Watch For: A barrage of offensive rebounds and put backs for Reggie Evans, Brook Lopez and Kris Humphries. Kevin Garnett is going to need some help in the low block.
DENVER NUGGETS @ LOS ANGELES LAKERS
Time & Date: Saturday December 1 from the Staples Centre
Coverage: LIVE 2:30 pm AEDT (See TV Guide for other games and times)
The Denver Nuggets will be looking at a new look Lakers team that eliminated them from the playoffs in 7 games. But it will be the same old foes that Nuggets must shut out if they are to win this road game.
The double edged sword that is Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard will be a handful although the Nuggets do have some length and shot blocking of their own.
Watch For: Andre Iguodala to test Kobe defensively and Danilo Gallinari to bring Pau Gasol out on the perimeter. This will open up the paint somewhat for Kenneth Faried and co to run at the Lakers.
There’s two match-ups you can catch on ESPN Australia via Foxtel in the coming days.
Can the Nuggets upset the Lakers in Staples? Or will the Celtics fight off a scrappy Brooklyn team?
