NBA Storylines to Watch – Week 7
Warriors on a Charge
34 years, that’s how long it has been since the Warriors have ended a road trip longer than 7 games with a winning record.
That’s an amazing stat given the talented teams that the Warriors have had over the years (Run TMC comes to mind) but it shows how different this new Warriors team is.
Mark Jackson has come in and changed the culture of this team with more of a focus on the defensive end, especially rebounds.
This has resulted in a 15-7 record after knocking off Miami yesterday and some serious talk about whether they can keep this record going.
Remember this is all without their 7ft defensive stopper in Andrew Bogut so the question is: How far can this team go on this stretch and will Bogut make them better?
Give Me Some Raptor News!
Going into the season the Raptors had high hopes of making the playoffs and making an impact after years of mediocrity.
Recently it has all gone pear shaped and the team looks to be imploding.
Andrea Bargnani can’t throw a bottle of maple syrup into the Atlantic, Kyle Lowry is injured, the GM is making excuses and players are getting into childish fights with the refs (see clip below).
Will the Raptors be destined to spend eternity in the lottery or will they come together and be the team that looks so good on paper?
Let the Trades Begin!
December 15 marks the date where players that were signed in the off-season can be officially traded according to NBA rules and this is usually the time the trade market starts heating up.
We know the Lakers are looking to make some moves given their poor start and plenty of other teams will be in the mix trying to improve their roster.
Who will make the first blockbuster trade and how will it shape the league?
Tell us who you think will make the first trade move and who will be involved in the comments section below.

As a die hard Warriors fan i think we will make the playoffs and even deep into it but really cant afford another big man go down, yes Bogut is a major loss but every1 is forgetting Brandon Rush,he is another 3 point shooting machine and ourenergy off the bench..We will be better for it next year with all our rookies getting major playing time this season and will be able to pick up another big man in the offseason….GO WARRIOR NATION!!!!! lol
