Australian NBA TV Guide: 2012-13 Season Week 1 Tip-Off

The 2012-13 NBA Season is finally here so lets have a look at the first weeks coverage on Australian TV.
ESPN Australia’s first game of the season is the San Antonio Spurs v New Orleans Hornets on Thursday but unfortunately are not showing any opening day games.
To make up for that however they are dropping a massive double header on Saturday between the Miami Heat v New York Knicks and the battle of LA: Los Angeles Lakers v Los Angeles Clippers (watch out for some info on where to watch the games in Australia soon).
ESPN will also continue to air their regular feature programs such as NBA Tonight, NBA Action, & NBA Countdown before and after games.
If you are an NBA newbie or just a casual fan you should first know that there are only 2 ways to see NBA this season (legally anyway).
- ESPN: Paid TV subscription service Foxtel (around 2/3 games per week - sometimes more, sometimes less)
- League Pass: Paid online streaming subscription service from the NBA that you can watch on your computer, mobile or tablet (every single game every week) – click here for our 2012-13 NBA League Pass review
Our TV Guide is coloured planned to show you which games are on where and by clicking the buttons at the bottom you can subscribe to the Guide, view the Guide full screen and filter the Guide by channel.
