Steve Nash recorded the 10,000th assist of his career earlier today against the Houston Rockets.

He’s only the fifth player ever to reach that mark, currently behind John Stockton (15,806), Jason Kidd (currently at 11,969), Mark Jackson (10,334) and Magic Johnson (10,141).

The historic assist came off a pretty simple play to a wide open Antawn Jamison in the lane.

Nash was presented with the game ball after the loss to the Rockets and upon being asked what he would do with the ball, he remarked “Usually my 2-year-old ends up dribbling it around the house”.

Lucky kid.
