Aussie Alex Dunnachie Invited To NFL Combine
Australian Alex Dunnachie is amongst 300 lucky hopefuls to be invited the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine.
Dunnachie, who grew up playing Aussie Rules in Melbourne, has scored the invite after an eye-catching season as the starting punter for the University of Hawaii.
Alex ranked sixth out of 190 punters in college football season, with an average punt length of 46.2 yards setting Hawaii records along the way.
Of his total 49 punts, 20 were over 50 yards, he had one monster of 73 yards and 12 of them pinned the opposition inside their own 20 yard line.
He joins fellow Australians Jesse Williams and LSU punter Brad Wing, who also received invitations.
As you can see below, Alex was understandably delighted and we wish him all the best at the combine which takes place from February 23-26.
Just received that NFL Scouting Combine invite! Dreams have a way of coming true. Thank you to everyone who stuck by me and the belief!

Players who impress at the combine have a great chance of being picked by an NFL team come April in the NFL Draft.
