Video: Jacoby Jones breaks off 108-yard kick return
In the opening seconds of the second half of Super Bowl XLVII Jacoby Jones appears to put the nail in the coffin with a fantastic kick return right up the middle of the field. It put the Ravens up 28-6.
After a short additional break (the blackout), we discovered the 49ers weren’t done, but they couldn’t wrestle the lead from the Ravens.
Jacoby’s performance on the day totalled 290 all purpose yards. The most in Super Bowl history and putting him into the discussion for MVP (that eventually went to his quarterback, Joe Flacco).
The blocking up the middle was absolutely perfect, allowing the speedster to run through almost untouched.
